It has to be said, the iPhone is the ideal camera to take candid street photographs with. In this day and age it's very hard to simply photograph someone in the old way - you're likely to get hit, or called a pervert, or a terrorist. Most of my street photographs were taken in and around Bondi in Sydney. Bondi's a great place, full of a great cross section of society from the buff surfer dudes, to the ladies that shop to the homeless and of course the tourists. No two days are the same and the only person I've ever captured on more than one occasion is the guy that begs for change outside the Hall Street post office. Some of these photographs I stood and pointed the iPhone at poeple, but in most instances they were taken with the phone at my side in a casual manner. I've learnt how to point the camera in the right direction and time pressing the button without looking through a viewfinder. Of course most of the photos don't come out too well, but the ones that do are often excellent. I love street photography.
