... as promised ... remix of my old Sons of Zeus wallpaper - by way of a thank-you to all those folks who've had me on their watch list since it all began (you know who you are :) ) ....

truth be known I was never really happy with the original of this because the 2D stuff was (frankly) shite. So remixing it was a case of taking away all those borrowed ham-fisted 2D bits and stripping this image back to its essentials, whilst improving the core elements as much as possible, which meant reworking the central cloud elements and touching up the renders. On the forums recently someone asked how people knew when their stuff was 'finished' and one of the replies quoted somebody famous (I forget who) saying 'when there's nothing left to take away - it's done'. I think this one is finally done ...

very cool. dont know what to say. seems that these characters really existed. like a faraway planet, we know they are there, just dont know them much. that kinda thang.
