Description

As we cruise into autumn, the clocks have gone back an hour here in New South Wales. That means that lazy sunrises (7am) have gone for now, but it also means that winter's on the way, which has positives and negatives. Hopefully this prolonged stretch of wet weather we've been having will fizzle out and the weather will become slightly more normal again. Anyway, today's shot is a classic Gerroa view, looking over the rocks of Crooked River at sunset. I've been photographing the sunset at Gerroa since I moved to the south coast 11 years ago and I still underestimate how deep this river is every single time I'm down there. I strike out for the other bank, thinking to myself, how deep can it be and every time I get a wet bum.
