Camel Rock

More wet stuff falling and some exciting new shades of grey in the sky for me to catalogue. Days like this, I wish I was in the umbrella business. Hey ho. I had a wee flick through my photos and this shot caught my eye. This is the famous Camel Rock down in Bermagui, as seen from directly above the equally famous Horsehead Rock. The rocks along this part of the coast are completely different to the ones in the Sydney basin (which stretches from Newcastle to Murramurang) and they erode in really awesome ways - much more jagged and angular than the smoother rock formations here. In the distance on the other side of the bay you can see Bermagui itself. This photo also illustrates why you need to wait for low tide to visit Horsehead!
