Boat Harbour

So for some reason, I woke up at 6:00am, despite the fact that I only went to bed at 1am. I thought about going back to sleep, but I'm so rarely up in time for sunrises that I couldn't resist the inner voice. I headed over to Gerrringong, 10 minutes up the road from my house, to the boat harbour and the ocean pool. I was set up about 25 minutes before sunrise and got some shots of the sun emerging over the pacific. But the nicest shots of the day were when I turned my back on the sunrise and starting photographing the swell on the rocks. I love how the rising sun's lit up the spray on the left and the rocks on the right. Hope you dig it too.
